🎨 Red Amaryllis – Oils Painting Workshop

Join Karen Underwood, Gary Jenkins Professional Teacher, for a relaxed and friendly day of oil painting at Buckovers, creating a beautiful Red Amaryllis.
Whether you are a complete beginner or a more experienced painter, Karen will guide you throughout the day in a friendly and supportive environment designed to help you learn new skills, build confidence and enjoy painting.

🏍️ Buckovers Bike Night – August 2026
Wednesday 26 August 2026
The second summer Buckovers Bike Night took place on Wednesday 26 August, bringing another evening of bikes, food, drinks, local businesses and community activity to the site.
The event featured the £50 Best Bike competition decided by public vote, with visitors also able to explore The Little Nook, Jackie’s Country Larder, Buckovers Garden Centre and the other independent businesses on site.
❤️ Supporting a Buckovers Defibrillator
The Little Nook pledged 10% of its sales from the evening towards the fundraising effort for a defibrillator at Buckovers.

🔥 GWAAC Mission Ignition Firewalk
Friday 14 November 2025
In November 2025, Buckovers hosted Great Western Air Ambulance Charity’s Mission Ignition Firewalk — an unforgettable evening of fire, fundraising and community spirit.
Participants were guided through preparation and mindset training before taking on the challenge of walking barefoot across red-hot embers, all while raising vital funds in support of GWAAC’s critical care service.
The event brought participants, supporters and visitors together at Buckovers for a memorable November evening and showed just how differently the site can be used for community and charity events.
A Challenge for a Lifesaving Cause
A huge thank you to Great Western Air Ambulance Charity, the Firewalk team, every participant, fundraiser, volunteer and supporter who helped make the evening such a success.

There is plenty of free parking, with Buckovers Garden Centre at the heart of the site alongside The Little Nook Café, Jackie’s Country Larder Farm Shop, dog services, nursery and other independent businesses.
