Set against breathtaking views of the River Severn and both Severn Bridges, Buckovers is perfectly placed on the A38, just moments from the M5, between the rolling hills of Stroud and the historic market town of Thornbury.

Alongside our shops and café, we’re proud to host services for every part of life. The Soggy Dog is on hand to pamper your four-legged friends, while Pawstretchers Doggy Day Care offers a safe and friendly space for dogs to play and relax. Buckovers is more than a destination, it’s a community hub. And with exciting new additions on the horizon, including a high-tech commercial building, there’s always something new to discover. .
We are all invested in Buckovers, we bought the land opposite Dobbies Garden Centre back in 2003 and since then have seen the site flourish with local businesses including a dog daycare centre, hair salon and garden centre to name a few. It’s now a beautiful space to bring together the community. The Thornbury and Falfield areas are growing and becoming a thriving location for commuters from Bristol, Gloucester and beyond. We want to create a destination for all to enjoy, it is early days but we have big plans going forward. Born and raised in Gloucestershire we love everything that the local area has to offer and want to share some of its finest goods with you. We’re creative and don’t mind getting our hands dirty, and passionate about the land we call home that’s ready and waiting to be opened up to our wonderful community.
